Welcome to the 4th Wind Energy NRW Industry Day

…. 15th South Korea, 16th Netherlands, North Rhine-Westphalia, 17th Turkey, 18th Indonesia, … If we extend the IMF’s ranking of countries based on gross national product, NRW is one of the most productive places in the world. Considering the importance of its companies, the most populous federal state in Germany boasts an excellent global network. As one of the major industrial locations worldwide, it is watched with keen interest to see which steps are taken here to ensure a successful energy turnaround for its companies and citizens.

As one of the foremost industry meetings in Germany, the 4th Wind Energy Industry Day NRW, which will be held in Cologne on 21/22 June, will for the first time include an international aspect. NRW and its energy sector maintain close links with such countries as the Netherlands and Belgium. This will be reflected as much in the exhibition as in the programme involving issues around the implementation of the energy turnaround from technological or socio-political aspects, which are equally discussed in our neighbouring countries.
