Its aim is to build a platform for a North Rhine-Westphalia based wind energy network that is equally open to businesses settled in the region as to companies and experts at national and international level that wish to benefit from its high level of expertise and/or seek relevant business contacts.
The Industry Day focuses the interests of the sector and gives expression to its significant industrial and environmental/climate protection potential.
Concept and central idea
NRW is the foremost supplier to the wind industry. The companies based here are sought-after, global points of contact and suppliers. A strong indicator of the capabilities and productive efficiency of these companies and their workforce.
The Wind Energy Industry Day NRW brings together a broad range of experts from the business world, research facilities in the wind energy sector, and personalities from politics and associations, but also decision-makers from energy supply companies in the private and public sector. The Industry Day is held once a year. Along with an accompanying exhibition, it also offers expert talks on topics of general interest as well as technical issues.
